Chainmail

I went around looking for different chainmail webpages, and found a whole lot of good ones. I was please...woohoo... So, I guess I'll share with you what I have found. Also, I included all the pictures I have of my own chainmail. The pictures are really shitty, but at least it will give you a general idea of what I can do. (If you're waiting to see a picture of me in my chainmail bikini, you'll be waiting a helluva long time, bub.)

Mail Links    My Pictures

I'll try to give you some idea of what you'll find on the following pages, but I may not remember them all. I guess you'll just have to be thrilled with the excitement of finding out for yourself.

Sara's Chainmail Connection

This is probably the best resource to which I can direct you. It has links to just about every sort of chainmail site you might want to see.

Kate Cox Designs

There are some really nice things to look at on this page. Mostly for sale, if I remember correctly.

How To Make Chainmail Armor

This is a nice page if you're looking to learn how to make this junk for yourself.

Mail Page

I can't remember what's here, but since I had it bookmarked, it must be worth mentioning.

Chadwick's Chain Mail Page

Another page that I can't recall... Go see it anyway.

Conrad's Chainmail!

            Hm. I dunno. Chainmail.

My stuff! Yay! This is really just a small selection of what I've made. I've spent hours and hours making this junk, and I plan on making more things... Such as a vest and skirt and whatever else I can think of.

Hand-flowers    Necklaces

Here are some of what are usually called "hand-flowers" or "slave-bracelets".

This is a pretty simple flower design. It has a small 4-in-1 patter for the wrist, then a beaded flower for the hand, and finally a chain for the ring. This design is a little different. It's a 4-in-1 patter, but I used a "V" design to bring the two ends together in the middle attached to the ring.
This is probably my favorite. It's a matching pair of a 6-in-1 pattern, which loose spiral chains connecting the beads and rings. This is a simple black (gun metal) hand flower. It's not to pretty, but it goes well with black clothing--simple 4-in-1 with triangles.
This is another simple hand flower. It's a larger gage wire, 4-in-1 pattern, with a hex-flower pattern. This is a full triangle hand flower, made from a 4-in-1 king's patter, which covers the entire top of the hand quite nicely.
This is the first hand flower I ever designed and made. It's a 4-in-1 pattern with a triangle attached to three chains. There are 3 smaller gage wire triangle rings for the three middle fingers.

Here are some of my necklaces. I have more than these, but the others are not as ornate as these. I tend to like the simpler looking ones, like a 6-in-1 pattern or a kings patter with multiple rows. I've made several of these in different wire gages, ring diameters, and metal finishes.

This is a 6-in-1 pattern with triangles and chains attaching the triangles in a groovy little pattern. This is a simple necklace with a bead drop and crossing chains.
This is one with smaller triangles with larger diameter rings inside beads for decoration. This is a real small ring diameter 4-in-1 pattern, with the triangles connected by larger diameter rings.
This is one of the simplest triangle 4-in-1 pattern necklaces.
